The UMW Concert Band Winter Concert, directed by Kevin Bartram, will be featured on “Performance Central Virginia” on Friday, March 15 at 9 a.m., Saturday, March 16 at noon and 6p.m. and Sunday, March 17 at noon on Classics Radio 89.5 FM and at www.ClassicsRadio.org. The concert was held at UMW on Friday, Feb. 22 and included Vincent Persichetti’s “Pageant,” Clifton Williams’ “Caccia and Chorale” and David Holsinger’s “Abram’s Pursuit.” The program also included Goldmans’ “Chimes of Liberty March,” “Flights of Passage” and “March of the Irish Dragoons.”
