Important Campus Disruptions

Campus Water Outage

On Thursday, July 31, 2014, there will be a water outage that will affect the following buildings:  Woodard Hall, Mercer Hall, Willard Hall, Virginia Hall, Seacobeck Hall, Monroe Hall, Lee Hall, Trinkle Hall, the new Campus Center, Ball Hall, Custis Hall and Madison Hall. This outage is required to support water and steam line relocations at Woodard Hall during the current steam outage. The outage will be in effect from 5 p.m. Thursday, July 31, to 4 p.m. Sunday, August 3. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Please contact Sid Lambiott with any questions or concerns via email or at 540/654-2085.

Access Road Closure at Lee and Trinkle Halls

Beginning Monday, August 4, 2014, and continuing through Friday, August 15, 2014, there will be construction work occurring along the access road to the Lee Hall loading dock due to the Stormwater Improvement Project. No parking will be available along the road during this period. Deliveries will be accommodated, but the nature of the work will require a 48-hour notice to adjust the project  work schedule. Please contact Les Johnson at extension 2100 or via email to schedule a delivery during this period. We understand the timing is inconvenient but your cooperation and understanding are appreciated.

Thank you.
