UMW was among a record 2.3 million SouthEast residents who improved their earthquake safety in October, out of more than 22.6 million around the world. Over 43.8 million people are registered to participate in Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drills in 2015. More than 22.6 million people held their drill on Thursday, Oct. 15 at 10:15 a.m. along with UMW. UMW’s participation counts in a total that exemplifies the power of coming together and improving safety.
