The following is a message from the Office of Parking Management:
On Monday, Oct. 16, construction is scheduled to begin on the Jepson Science Center and addition. Throughout the project, estimated to take two years, traffic and parking in the Jepson lot will be affected and relocated as follows:
- The work zone, which includes Jepson’s parking lot, will be surrounded in construction fencing, eliminating access to 41 faculty and staff parking spaces.
- The roadway from College Avenue to the Simpson Library lot will remain open.
- Handicap spaces in the Jepson lot will still be available.
- The 41 eliminated Jepson spaces will be relocated to the top deck of the Alvey parking deck. Please see the attached diagram for parking space designations.
- Levels 1-3 of the Alvey Deck will remain open for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Reserved parking will be marked and enforced on the top level only.
