Social media accounts are constantly changing, and it’s hard to keep up. All university social media account managers are asked to submit their account information to the UMW Social Media Directory (http://www.umw.edu/social/directory/) by Friday, August 24 for the directory’s relaunch on Monday, August 27. Account information already listed in the directory will need to be re-submitted; that’s the only way to ensure the university is publicizing the most up-to-date information.
UMW-affiliated social media accounts are authorized through UMW’s Department of University Relations and are the sole property of UMW. For more information about how to authorize an account, please view the Social Media Policy at http://www.umw.edu/social/toolkit/policy/.
