MetLife to Present ‘Focus on your Future’ Workshop

Our MetLife representative will be in Lee Hall, Room 412, on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 10:30 a.m. He will stay until 1:30 p.m. for anyone who wishes to stop by and ask questions regarding retirement planning.

ORPHE Participants: Open Enrollment Session Oct. 11

October is Open Enrollment for ORP participants to change retirement providers. This year a new provider has been added to our current providers of TIAA and Fidelity. A meeting is being held on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 11 a.m. in the HCC Digital Auditorium. During this meeting, you will learn of the new plan resources and options as well as hear a presentation from each provider. No reservation is needed. Retirement Income Planning Workshop April 20

MetLife will be conducting a Retirement Income Planning workshop on Wednesday, April 20, at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. in Lee Hall 412. You will learn how to turn assets into income and about retirement risks, retirement goals and the retirement planning process. VRS Retirement Planning Seminar, Nov. 10

Are you Ready to Retire within the next five years?  UMW will be hosting a Retirement Planning Seminar for VRS Plan 1 and Plan 2 participants that are within five years of retiring on Tuesday, Nov. 10 in Lee Hall, Room 412. Sessions will take place at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Each session should last about 90 minutes. Topics discussed will include benefits payout options, when is it best to retire and your benefits after employment.
