Thursday is “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” around the country.
The national day was created to expose girls and boys to the work day of parents and mentors and show them the value of their education and the possibilities for their future. We hope UMW employees will choose to participate in this special day (please request your supervisor’s approval.) This unique opportunity can demonstrate care for employees’ families and respect for the balance they try to maintain between work and home.
