What does a team do to galvanize support in face of competition? It holds a pep rally!
Rick Hurley, coach of Team UMW, invites all students, faculty, and staff to a University-wide pep rally on Oct. 7 from 3 to 3:30 p.m. in the new Anderson Center. There will be singing, dancing, and school spirit galore!
Coach Hurley will unveil our strategy for dealing with our competition. Don’t let our peer institutions know, but the playbook involves a new website and a new tagline for UMW. By attending, you will be among the first to see the brand new U, as in a makeover for UMW’s image. Plus, you can see some cool student videos.
Come out for all the fun, food, and entertainment. Cheer on UMW as it begins to play in the big leagues and convey itself boldly in the region.
It is likely you will leave with not only more energy, but also a free t-shirt!
