The record attempt for the most people performing jumping high-fives simultaneously is completed in pairs – which means you’ll high-five the person next to you. This #HighFive Hurley event is a tribute to President Hurley, but it’s not a high-fiving Hurley event. He will be there as a participant.
For this unique and unprecedented event, we’re bringing students, faculty, staff, and community members together. How often does that happen?! UMW’s goal is to break the existing record of 432 pairs – which means we need 866 people! We are well on our way, but WE NEED YOU!!!! So that UMW’s record will stand for a long time, we want to FILL the Anderson Center.
So grab a friend, sign up and show up at Anderson Center next Wednesday for a history-making event.
