Susan Mullane has announced that the Jepson Alumni Executive Center at UMW has been designated a “Green” Conference Center. Recycling and conservation efforts have been stepped up to meet Virginia State standards, and the Jepson name will be proudly displayed on the Commonwealth’s Department of Environmental Quality website. Virginia Green is the statewide program that works to reduce the environmental impacts of Virginia’s Tourism Industry. It is run as a partnership between DEQ, the Virginia Tourism Corporation and the Virginia Hospitality and Tourism Association.
