Have You Thought about Retirement?

It is closer than you think!

Today is a good day to evaluate if you have saved enough money to live comfortably in retirement.

If you haven’t started a savings plan, this is a good time to begin with as little as $10 a payday. And if you are a full time employee, the University will match 50% of your contributions to the 457 or 403(b) Plan or $20 per pay day, whichever is less. If you are already participating, evaluate if you can save more to increase your retirement income.

VRS Participants ONLY

Your 2013 Member Benefit Profile (MBP) is available through your myVRS account.

What does this mean for you? The MBP is your online annual benefit statement based on information the University has reported to VRS as of June 30, 2013.  It’s an important resource for planning your future. Want to know how much money you have in your member account? Want to see an estimate of your monthly benefit when you retire, and when you can retire?

You will be able to find all this information in your 2013 Member Benefit Profile
