University of Mary Washington student Barbara Hall has been chosen as a Chancellor’s Fellow for the 2015-2016 academic year by the Virginia Community College System (VCCS).
Developed to contribute to the community college’s mission, the fellowship is awarded to VCCS employees also enrolled in a degree program from a Virginia state institution. The first UMW student to be awarded the fellowship, Hall will be able to pursue her studies for one year with financial support for tuition and fees.
A student in UMW’s Bachelors of Liberal Studies program, Hall works in accounting and human resources at Germanna Community College (GCC).
