Outdoor Recreation is pleased to present our Rental Center, where you can rent items for your next outdoor adventure!
The Outdoor Recreation Rental Center offers a variety of camping equipment for students, faculty/staff, and alumni members to rent throughout the year. Equipment Rentals come with a small, daily fee per item. Please refer to the Terms of Rental Agreement to learn about the rental center and equipment policies.
The Rental Center is open for pickup and dropoff during the following times:
Monday to Friday: 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (7:30 p.m. on Fridays).
Saturday and Sunday: 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The rental center has the following items in inventory and can be rented on per day basis.
To make a group reservation please contact umworec@mail.umw.edu. Group reservations must be made a minimum of 1-2 weeks in advance. Group reservations are priced on a different scale, so please contact the ORec administrative team.
Payments will only be accepted at the front desk located at the Fitness Center. Rental fees can be paid with cash, credit, check or Eagle One. Payments for violations of any of the terms stated in the Rental Agreement will be notified and, if not paid, will be added to the student’s account. Patrons returning equipment in a damaged condition will not be allowed to check out equipment again until payment is made.
