Ticket sales for UMW’s 5th annual Athletics Gala will close Monday, May 14 at noon. You can purchase tickets here.
The University of Mary Washington athletic department will host the event on Thursday, May 17 in Chandler Ballroom at the University Center. All proceeds support UMW student-athletes.
The Gala begins at 6 p.m. with silent auction bidding, strolling buffet with heavy hors d’oeuvres, open bar and live music.
The event will feature keynote speaker Dr. Christine L. Copper ’91. Dr. Copper, a two-time women’s tennis national champion at Mary Washington and member of the UMW Athletic Hall of Fame, currently serves as the faculty athletic representative at the U.S. Naval Academy as a faculty member in the Chemistry department.
