Gari Melchers Home and Studio will host its 6th Art After Hours on Thursday, May 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, but reservations are required by contacting Meghan Pcsolyar at mpcsolya@umw.edu or 540-654-1848.
Enjoy an evening of live music on the lawn featuring Karen Jonas while strolling the spring gardens, art galleries, and grounds. $5 tickets will be for sale to enjoy Stafford County’s 6 Bears and a Goat Brewing Co. and Potomac Point Winery, with proper ID. Juan More Taco food truck will be cooking up their famous tacos and The Zesty Adventurer food truck will be serving fresh Mediterranean dishes. The studio galleries will be open late for those to tour.
There is parking onsite and an additional parking lot for overflow, which will offer shuttles to and from the event. Overflow parking will be availble at the Old Historic Port of Falmouth lot on River Road (right down the hill from Gari Melchers Home and Studio.)
Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs and blankets to relax on the lawn during the beautiful spring evening.
