On Tuesday, May 21, 17 members of UMW’s Retired Faculty Wives and Retired Faculty Women’s Club met for their annual spring luncheon. At this event, and the Winter luncheon, the women enjoy continuing their longstanding friendships and welcoming new friends. Jose Sainz, director of UMW’s Center for International Education, spoke about current and future study abroad programs.
Since 1982, this group has sponsored a scholarship for the children of Mary Washington faculty and has helped more than 50 students over the years.
