The S.A.C. Activities Committee is launching a new campaign called “The Eagle Has Landed” as part of the S.A.C.’s Eagle Community initiative designed to bring the UMW community closer.
This eagle will land at various work spaces across the UMW campuses, giving its prey different options to rid themselves of its beauty. The lucky “landee” then has the authority to decide the eagle’s next landing spot. Everyone is encouraged to help beautify the eagle along the way, adding enhancements and improving its overall appearance.
But before the campaign begins, our eagle needs a proper name.
Therefore a UMW-wide Name the Eagle contest is now officially open and will run through February. Whoever comes up with the best name for our landing eagle will be featured in the Eagle Eye, and will win a free Seacobeck lunch.
Send your name ideas to Priscilla Sullivan at psulliva@umw.edu.
