Political Science major Nick Jacobs won the 2010 Pi Sigma Alpha essay competition. His paper, “Professional Reputation: Why the First Year of the Presidency is Overstated,” received first place honors in the “Best Undergraduate Class Paper Category.”
Nick’s paper was the 8th from UMW to be recognized in the Pi Sigma Alpha national essay competition, while no other school has been honored more than twice. Congratulations to Nick for his well-deserved honor.
