Please extend a warm welcome to Andreas Ortner, our new Executive Catering Chef with UMW Dining Services. Andreas began his culinary journey in Austria where he attended school and completed an apprenticeship. He honed his skills in prestigious restaurants, and in hotels in his native country as well as England and Uruguay. Upon coming to the United States, Andreas landed a position in 2000 at the prestigious Inn at Little Washington. We are proud to now have him as a member of the University community and our catering team.
