Teachers, coordinators, administrators, and university faculty will be joining together on Saturday, June 2 for the Summer 2012 EdTech Conference “Leading through Change: Teaching, Learning, and Technology” at the University of Mary Washington’s Stafford Campus. Throughout the day, participants will experience sessions on teaching, learning, and technology integration that center around leadership and change in the 21st century K12 classroom.
The day will begin with a Kkeynote by John Hendron, Supervisor of Instructional Technology at Goochland County Public Schools in Virginia. We also will have experts in the field provide special presentations throughout the day, to include the ITRTs from Spotsylvania County Schools.
Faculty and students from UMW are encouraged to present their knowledge and experience in teaching and learning as it relates to technology.
Who: All K-12 teachers, pre-service teachers, administrators, University educators and technology specialists, and others interested in educational technology
What: Keynote Speaker, Peer Sessions, Student and Teacher Technology Showcases, Panel Discussions, Vendor Fair, Door Prizes (to include technology hardware and software).
