Congratulations to Katherine Lister, associate director of financial aid, who has been selected as the Excellent Eagle Employee for the month of August. A parking spot of her choosing has been reserved for her through the end of the month.

“This nomination should have been made a LONG time ago. Mrs. Lister is the glue that holds financial aid operations together. She keeps employees and projects moving forward with positive motivation. She is patient when providing instructions and training. She does not merely go through the motions of her job. Mrs. Lister is fair and strives to create equity when awarding financial aid to students. She works long hours to ensure that students receive their aid as fast as possible and she advocates on their behalf when they reach ‘rough patches’. She is proof that financial aid administrators truly believe in access to education.”
