Melissa was the only higher education representative on the panel, which had members from the Department of Accounts (DOA) and other state agencies.

PARKING STUDY
A parking study was contracted in 2013 by the firm of Clark Nexen and a preliminary report has been provided for review. The report benchmarks UMW against standards provided by the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), and concludes that “ the current parking ratio is higher than the recommended parking supply ratio by ITE and thus more than average parking is available for a campus of (our) type.” The report is currently under review by UMW.
