Funeral services for Griffin C. Burke will be held at noon on Saturday, Dec. 13 at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, 10725 Courthouse Road, Spotsylvania, Va. A reception will follow at the Jepson Alumni Executive Center at 1119 Hanover St., located across from the Battleground Athletic Complex.
Griffin died on Saturday, Dec. 6. He was a junior business administration major and member of the UMW lacrosse team.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in memory of Griffin to Woodberry Forest School, 402 Woodberry Station, Woodberry Forest, Va. 22989, or to the University of Mary Washington Men’s Lacrosse Team, c/o UMW Foundation, 1119 Hanover St., Fredericksburg, Va. 22401. Found & Sons Funeral Home in Spotsylvania is handling funeral arrangements.
