Srivastava Organizes Sixth Global Management Conference

Mukesh Srivastava, professor of management information systems, organized the sixth International Conference of the Association of Global Management Studies at the Lerner Hall, Columbia University, New York, NY on June 10 and 11, 2015.  The theme of the conference is “Global Management and Innovation across Businesses.”

This conference continues to provide a platform to discuss challenges pertaining to the contemporary issues in global management. It also fosters an environment for multidisciplinary global research involved in the development of theoretical and practice knowledge of all business and related fields by researchers, educators, developers and practitioners.

Global Participation of Scholars

This year, 91 papers were submitted and 30 were selected for presentation at the conference and publications in the ICAGMS 2015 Proceedings; selected quality papers are slated to be published in the International Journal of Global Management Studies or International Journal of Global Management Studies Professional.

Academics from fourteen countries including Australia, Canada, China, Germany, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, UAE, UK, U.S.A. and Vietnam presented their scholarly research work on global management study. This year’s keynote address was delivered by Professor Noel Capon, R. C. Kopf Professor of International Marketing, Columbia Business School, Columbia University, New York on Managing Global Accounts, which was well received by the audience.
