Stephen Farnsworth, professor of political science and director of the University’s Center for Leadership and Media Studies, recently gave a U.S. Department of State program lecture titled “U.S. Journalism, Public Opinion and Foreign Policy Development” in Washington, D.C., for visiting journalists from a variety of Middle Eastern nations. The lecture was part of the Institute for International Education’s International Visitor Leadership Program and included findings from Dr. Farnsworth’s recent co-authored book, “The Global President: International Media and the U.S. Government.”
