2016 Social Justice and Leadership Summit, March 19

Greetings Campus Community,

On behalf of the James Farmer Multicultural Center (JFMC) and Student Transition Program (STP), you are cordially invited to participate in the 2016 Social Justice and Leadership Summit on Saturday, March 19, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the HCC Digital Auditorium.  The purpose of this event is to create an opportunity for dialogue and training for students to develop a theoretical framework and applicable understanding of identity, social justice and allyship.  Additionally, this workshop will challenge participants to advocate for and promote an equal, equitable campus culture and climate within their collegiate and professional experiences.

Facilitating the summit will be Joan Iva Fawcett, Director of Student Government Advising & Leadership Programs and Associate Director of the LEAD Center at the University of California, Berkeley.
