Junior men’s basketball standout Eric Shaw has been named as the UMW Wagner Wealth Management Athlete of the Month for January.

After scoring a career high 33 points on New Year’s Eve, Shaw blistered through January, scoring 29 points against Penn State Harrisburg, and adding 25 against third-ranked Christopher Newport. He averaged 15.9 PPG in the month.
