Due to budget cuts, the Student Health Center will not be providing flu shots this year. However, through cooperation with Giant Food, there will be an opportunity for faculty, staff and students to receive the shots on campus.
There will be an $18 fee for those who do not have health insurance or wish to pay out of pocket. Giant will bill your health insurance for the vaccines, so please remember to bring your insurance card and identification. Giant will distribute consent forms at the time of the shot.
There will be three clinics at the Fredericksburg Campus:
Oct. 6, from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m – UC- Patio area ( in case of rain the clinic will be inside at Kiosk A)
Oct. 10, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. – UC – Kiosk
October 19th – 11:00 am – 2:00 pm – UC – Kiosk
The flu shots will be available on Oct. 24 at the Stafford Campus, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. (location not available at this time).
