Please join us on Wednesday, January 31, at 7:00 p.m. for the latest installment of Mary Talks. Gregg Stull, Director of UMW Theatre, presents, “Changing Our World—One Play at a Time,” a discussion on the transformative power of theatre. When we gather in community to experience theatre, we bring with us a variety of expectations—to laugh, to learn, to contemplate life’s challenges, to empathize with the experience of others, and to sit in awe of gorgeous text, inspiring performances, and remarkable art. Whatever the title, when the lights go down and the curtain rises, the theatre nurtures a rich conversation between its artists and the audience.
Gregg Stull is the winner of three Mary Washington campus-wide teaching awards and is one of “The 300 Best Professors” as chosen by The Princeton Review.
This event is free to attend, but your registration is requested. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Please join us for light refreshments at the conclusion of the program; we look forward to seeing you there!
