Nominations are currently being accepted for the 2017-2018 UMW Eagle Awards!
The Eagle Awards highlight students, student clubs and faculty/staff who have provided leadership and contributed outstanding service through involvement in activities and organizations. The Eagle Awards are an opportunity for the University community to recognize those who have made extraordinary contributions to the campus and greater community.
Any member of the student body, faculty, and staff can nominate deserving students or organizations. Example of some awards given are the Grace Mann Launch Award, the Prince Woodard Outstanding Leader Award and the Alex Naden Award.
Individuals may not nominate themselves; however, they can nominate an organization they are in. Only students can nominate a faculty or staff member for the Giving Tree Award.
You can review and complete all nomination forms in OrgSync through the CHLS portal: https://orgsync.com/59560/chapter.
Award winners, as well as nominees, will be recognized at the Eagle Awards ceremony on Thursday, April 19, at 6 p.m. in Chandler Ballroom, University Center. All are welcomed to attend.
Please direct questions about the nomination process to Marissa DiMeo, Student Events Coordinator for CHLS, at mdimeo@umw.edu or ext. 5643.
