Professor and Chair of the Department of Communication and Digital Studies Anand Rao
Director of the Center for AI and the Liberal Arts Anand Rao contributed to an article by The Independent Florida Alligator. In the piece, titled “Can AI teach kids to read? UF researchers create interactive literacy app,” Rao, who currently works with middle and high schools to improve AI literacy education, said the goal is to teach students how AI works, discuss its limitations and show them how to use it responsibly.
