Virginia Veteran Laptop Program Offers Free Laptops at UMW
UMW has partnered with the Virginia Department of Veterans Services to offer free laptops to eligible veterans and military spouses through the Virginia Veteran Laptop Program (VVLP).
Initially piloted in the Virginia Community College System, the program has expanded to include select four-year institutions across the Commonwealth. Building on the success of the Military Student Technology Initiative, VVLP was created through the Military Education and Workforce Initiative in partnership with the Veterans Services Foundation and Tech for Troops.
Veterans and military spouses enrolled at UMW are eligible to participate, regardless of discharge status. For more information, contact Ryan Hastings at rhasting@umw.edu.
