The staff of The James Monroe Museum invites Fredericksburg area residents to join them in reaching out to help some of those most severely impacted by Hurricane Irma.
As the museum staff considered how they could help those in need, they thought of focusing their efforts on Monroe County, Florida, established on July 2, 1823, and named after then-president James Monroe.
Members of the community may stop by the James Monroe Museum from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, Oct. 6, to donate toward rebuilding efforts in Monroe County, Florida.
