“Give from the Heart!” is the theme of the 2010 Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC) and refers to the many things that charities can do with your gift of any size. Your gift, whether you are giving for the first time or are increasing last year’s contribution, helps strengthen our community. It will go to the charity of your choice out of 1300 different options.
Please look for the donation table on Thursday, November 18th, during the Thanksgiving Luncheon (Faculty/Staff Dining Room) to learn more information regarding CVC donations and charities. Those who make a donation (by pledge card or online) by 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 18th, will be eligible for a prize drawing.
We are encouraging everyone to donate ONLINE through EmployeeDirect by visiting the CVC website and clicking on the “Give Now” green button in the middle of the home page: http://www.cvc.vipnet.org/index.html (see attachment for step-by-step instructions). Donations can also be made by completing a pledge card and returning the completed card to the Administration and Finance Office in George Washington Hall, Room 105.
