Assistant Professor of Historic Preservation Katherine Parker was featured by C-SPAN in a piece titled, “Remembering George Washington’s Mother.” Recently, Parker and UMW students had a day and half with ground-penetrating radar and they went to Meditation Rock, which is a beautiful site within the City of Fredericksburg … to try to figure out where Mary Washington’s grave might have been.
