Assistant Professor of Communication and Digital Studies J.D. Swerzenski was featured in an FXBG Advance article about “The New Data Center Alley,” a 26-minute documentary examining data center development in Fredericksburg, Stafford and Spotsylvania County. Produced in collaboration with UMW students Chloe Adler ’26 and Owen Wheeler ’27, the documentary explores the growth of data centers in the region and their potential impacts on local communities.
