Assistant Professor of Communication and Digital Studies Stefanie Chae authored a Business Insider essay titled “I Was a Communications Major and Built a Successful Career. If a Parent Asked Me for Advice, I’d Say Comms Is a Great Choice.” In the essay, Chae reflects on how her communication education at UMW and Georgetown University prepared her for a successful career in higher education.
