Celebrate Latino Identities Month with a performance by Quimbao Latin Band, bringing salsa, merengue, cumbia, bachata, cha-cha, Latin jazz and other Latin rhythms to The Underground.
Quimbao was founded in 2000 by bandleader, director, producer and pianist Oscar Perez, a native of Lima, Peru, with more than 30 years of experience in the music industry. Perez has performed with several Peruvian bands and produced two records before bringing his musical talents to audiences across the United States.

Quimbao Latin Band has performed throughout the East Coast and at events hosted by organizations and institutions including the Organization of American States, Georgetown University, George Mason University and UMW.
