Sellers Speaks at Dedication of New Marker to the Manahoac Indians in Culpeper
Associate Professor of History Jason Sellers was one of the featured speakers at an event to dedicate a new marker to the Manahoac Indians in Culpeper County.
The marker unveiling took place on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 1 p.m., and also featured remarks from Jim Bish, MCH Marker Committee Chairman; Brad Hatch, Cultural Resources Officer with the Patawomeck Indian Tribe of Virginia; and David Caprara, Co-Steward of the Mannahoac Story Alliance.
