Employee Fall Luncheon, Oct. 13

The UMW Employee Fall Luncheon is back!! Save the date for  Tuesday, October 13th from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom.  Have lunch and hear from our new Vice President of Student Affairs, Juliette Landphair.  See your co-workers be recognized for 30+ years of service, hear updates on the Presidential Search, SAC and more UMW news!  We will have prizes to win!

Donation Requests:

Please visit What’s New to see the Updated Service Award list, Save The Date for October 13 Fall Gathering, discounts and to learn about how you can obtain free tickets to the Flying Squirrels Baseball Game.

Fredericksburg Community Night is Tuesday, August 25th at the Richmond Flying Squirrels Baseball Game. University Relations has some FREE tickets available to see the game.  Come on out and have a night with other UMW employees!  Game time is 7:05 p.m. and gates open at 6 p.m.  Free tickets are available in Human Resources – first come, first serve!

Individual Counseling Sessions for Deferred Compensation, Cash Match Plan and/or VRS Hybrid – Defined Contribution Component on June 11

Don’t Forget to schedule an appointment for your 457 Deferred Compensation and 401 Cash Match Plan. Our representative is offering individual counseling sessions on June 11, Sept. 14 and Dec. 1  in GW 106. Also, any VRS Hybrid retirement participant may also set up an individual counseling session for their Defined Contribution component or to discuss voluntary contributions.
