Association of Teacher Educators Va. Names Jane Huffman President-Elect

Jane Huffman, College of Education chair of the Department of Foundation, Leadership and Special Populations, has been named as president-elect of The Association of Teacher Educators in Virginia.  She also is the co-chair of the organization’s fall conference which is being held at Sweetbriar College October 20 to 21.

The Association of Teacher Educators in Virginia is an affiliate of the national organization, Association of Teacher Educators (ATE). ATE is an organization for individuals who have a professional interest in the preparation and continuing education of teachers and other professionals in the field of education. Members represent public and private schools, colleges and universities, professional associations and learned societies and government agencies.
