Virginia State Employee Emergency Fund. Created for state employees (full and part time employees) who are in a financial need due to a result of an emergency, recent crisis or death of a loved one. It is a grant up to $500 and does not need to be repaid. http://www.cvc.vipnet.org/emergencyfund.htm
State Employee Loan Program ($100-$500). For full time employees with at least 12 months service who are members of the Virginia Credit Union. http://www.dhrm.virginia.gov/vaemploan
