Important Information Regarding Free Basketball Tickets
For UMW Students, Faculty, and Staff
Eagle Nation, have you heard? We are hosting the “Sweet 16” round of the NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Tournament this Friday night!
Here’s what you need to know:
- Free tickets for UMW Students and Fac/Staff will be available for pickup at the Anderson Center on Friday morning from 10 a.m. to noon
- Tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis
- There will be absolutely no “cutting” in line – any person seen breaking this rule will be removed from line completely
- There is no guarantee that there will be remaining tickets for UMW Students, Faculty, and Staff at the door Friday night
- President Hurley is covering all ticket costs for UMW Students and Fac/Staff
- You must show a valid UMW I.D. to get your ticket
- Each person may only pickup their own (1) ticket
- These free tickets strictly limit where you may sit in the stands:
The two designated “Student Sections” are:
- 1. In the Pep Band section
- 2. Behind the UMW team bench section
UMW Faculty and Staff are encouraged to sit behind the UMW players’ bench area. Any UMW Faculty, Staff or Student wishing to sit in the reserved chair-back arena seats must buy a reserved ticket through www.umweagles.com
