Please join us this week to commemorate the lives for two beloved faculty members.
- A celebration of life will be held for Dr. JeanAnn Dabb on Friday, Jan. 15, at 4 p.m., in the foyer of duPont Hall. Dr. Dabb, who had taught art history at UMW since 1992, died on Oct. 20. Some of her books will be available at the service on a donation basis, with the proceeds going to her memorial fund.
- A memorial tribute for Dr. Neil Tibert, Professor of Geology, will be held in the Rappahannock Grand Ballroom of the Jepson Alumni Executive Center at 1119 Hanover St. on Saturday, Jan. 16, from 2 to 4 p.m. Dr. Tibert, who had taught at UMW since 2003, died on Dec. 20.
