Dear Colleagues:
Yesterday the House of Delegates and Senate of the Virginia General Assembly released their amendments to the Governor’s proposed 2016 – 2018 State budget. The next steps include:
1. Conference Committee negotiations resulting in a unified set of amendments,
2. The Governor’s final review and approval.
Attached Crossover summary-2016 is a comparison of the Governor’s proposed budget and the amendments proposed by the House and Senate with respect to those items pertinent to UMW.
As we learn more, I will be updating you.
