Greetings Campus Community:
UMW will host new student Summer Orientation which will begin Wednesday,
June 14, 2017 and continue through Wednesday, June 28, 2017.
Orientation is an opportunity to welcome incoming students and their families to our campus.
The UMW community support in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our campus guests is greatly appreciated.
Throughout the Orientation event, please plan to park in the following lots and avoid parking in neighborhood streets:
- Battleground lot located on Hanover Street
- William Street Commuter lot located on the corner of Sunken Road and William Street
- The Alvey parking Deck located off Route 1
During Orientation, the following parking lot reservations shall apply.
Signs indicating the reserved lots will be posted on Tuesday June 13.

- GW
- Inbound/Outbound Double Drive
- Jefferson Square
- Randolph/Mason lot
- Russell/Marshall
- Thornton Lot
- Jepson Lot
NOTE: All designated handicapped parking spaces are exempt and those spaces remain accessible.
