UMW will welcome incoming first-year and transfer students and their families to campus for Summer Orientation June 10 through June 27, 2019.
Orientation is a vital experience designed to make students and their families feel welcomed, involved, and connected to the University. Your support in this mission is greatly appreciated.
Mondays through Thursdays during the period of Orientation, the following parking lot reservations will apply:
Orientation student and guest parking only:
- GW lot
- Inbound/outbound Double Drive
- Jefferson Square
- Randolph/Mason
- Russell/Marshall
- Thornton lot
Reserved lot signs will be in place beginning June 7, 2019. Throughout Orientation, faculty and staff may park in the following lots:
- Battleground lot located off Hanover Street
- College Avenue
- William Street commuter lot located on the corner of William St. & Sunken Road
- The Alvey parking deck located off Route 1
Please note: Accessible parking spaces remain available to any vehicles with DMV-issued accessible placards or license plates. Please contact Parking Management if additional information is needed:
