Effective Thursday, May 25, at 6 a.m., through Friday, May 26, the Jefferson Square parking lot will be closed for line painting, weather permitting. No vehicles may be left in the lot during this time period. Barricades to the entrance will be in place by 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24, and all vehicles must be relocated by May 25 at 6 a.m., when the exit route to the lot will be barricaded.
Parking for faculty and staff will remain available in all other designated faculty and staff lots.
As a reminder:
- Accessible parking spaces are available in all open lots to any vehicles with DMV-issued accessible placards or license plates.
- The UMW Police Department provides escorts when needed and may be reached at ext. 1025. Please visit the Safety Escort webpage for more information.
