Manos Latinas: Giving Through Food
Through Friday Oct. 11
LSA is sponsoring a month-long food drive with a local nonprofit organization to support local Latino families and their needs for food and educational security. We invite you to aid us in this initiative to support our local Latino community by donating school supplies and non-perishable food items for families in need (a detailed list will be provided on the JFMC website). Education and nutrition go hand in hand, and our drive strives to support both. Together, we can help combat hunger while celebrating their heritage. You may bring your donations to the James Farmer Multicultural Center located in the Cedric Rucker University Center, room 319. The JFMC is open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
