With the start of a new academic year, we want to refresh our employee name badges. The new style will be similar to our prior oval name badge, with durable etched lettering and magnetic attachment. Even if you recently ordered or reordered a name badge, you can receive a new one this fall, as this style will ensure clear, consistent, and readable text for employee names.
You do not need to submit a request to receive a new name badge. Everyone will receive a complimentary new name badge as a part of our employee appreciation this semester. Your badge will feature the name currently listed in Banner. You can check how your name is listed In Banner Self Service.
Only those who wish to use a preferred name should indicate it by completing the order details via the online form by Sept 5.
New name badges will be delivered via campus mail or during the Employee Appreciation events around Fall Break. Please wear your name badge for major University Admissions events and Open Houses, so our students and families can quickly identify you as someone who can answer questions and share the great work here at UMW.
